“ What a wonderful gem of a restaurant hidden in Crofton Park. I’ve lived here for years and only recently noticed this restaurant. My friend and I decided to try our luck getting a table when they opened on Sunday night. Luckily for us they managed to squeeze us in. The staff were so friendly and the decor feels like you’ve been invited into a family home and this combination was perfect. I ordered the vegetarian rendang (photo 1) curry and some coconut rice. They were delicious, seasoned perfectly and the portions were really generous. We were both so full when we left that we welcomed the stroll home. They also let you BYOB for 2 which was great as we didn’t have to spend money on expensive alcohol. I also checked the hygiene rating which is a 5 so that’s the icing on the cake. A really great under the radar local Malaysian restaurant - please book and support them as we need businesses like this thriving in the local area. We both said we can’t wait to return! ”
“ We really enjoyed this place. Food was fresh, delicious and very flavourful. Service was super friendly and attentive but not overbearing. They do a Sunday brunch menu with veggie, vegan and kids options which we will definitely give a go. For those interested they do BYOB. We’ll be back. ”
“ I am Malaysian and have worked as a Malaysian chef in London and Malaysia. This place is amazing, big portions, well priced and most importantly delicious! Very authentic flavour, just like how you’d get in Malaysia. Will definitely visit again, thank you! ”
“ We tried to go a couple of weeks in a row and couldn’t get in on a weekend, so calling and booking in advance highly recommended. The food was actually pretty amazing and there were multiple vegetarian (with the option for vegan), fish and meat options. You can BYOB for a 2 charge too. Would definitely recommend as it was relatively cheap and staff seemed nice! ”
“ I’m not an expert in Malaysian food, but we really enjoyed our meal. I especially liked the acar awak (pickled veg). The roti were fresh and delicious! And I love pandan so loved the custard dessert. Friendly staff and great prices. ”
“ Surprised I never been here, finally tried, realised why here seem always busy. Foods are so tasty, reasonable price, portions are big. Chicken skewers were my favourite, so good.. ”
“ Generous portions, I'm definitely making this one of my regulars. Atmosphere chilled, not pretentious. Cafe style layout, food beyond expectations. Cooked in a tiny kitchen by 4 women right in the middle of the main restaurant. Time of food arriving after ordering was 20-25 mins, and that felt right. Food was worth it. ”
“ Affordable, yummy and cosy! I've almost tried every single dish on their menu and loved everything. My favourites are the nasi lemak beef rendang, mee mamak goreng and the onion fritters! It's cash only on Wed and Sun, but there are plenty of cash machines along the road. Highly recommend! ”
